NICU Graduate Turns 18!

NICU Graduate Trinity Brooks recently turned 18! To help celebrate this extraordinary milestone, her mother, Dana, who also serves as one of our Board Members, spearheaded a heartwarming initiative. She mobilized their circle of friends and family to collaborate on creating 18 exquisite baby scrapbooks. Dana, now a seasoned scrapbook professional, recognizes the profound significance of preserving those precious memories from Trinity's NICU journey.

Their generous donation didn't stop at the scrapbooks; it also encompassed a thoughtful assortment of baby essentials such as books, diapers, and other charming baby supplies. Trinity, may your 18th year be the most remarkable and joy-filled yet!

Read more about Trinity's NICU Journey:

Trinity was born on May 20th at Women's Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina. On that day, we went into the hospital looking forward to meeting our second child and eager to know the gender. After a strenuous labor process, Trinity Lynn came into the world ready to take it by storm!!! A few hours after birth, she developed complications and was rushed to the NICU. Trinity was placed on a respirator, and her vitals were constantly monitored. The doctors could not determine what caused her instability but worked to get her to a point of discharge a week later. Released as a "normal" baby, we started our journey. Since Trinity was a second child, we noticed certain things that did not transpire with our first. Due to the follow-up of Family Support Network and connecting us with community resources, we realized that she was "failing to thrive." Trinity has developmental delays, and she is still taking the world by storm!
