Kai's Story

At Brenner’s Children’s Hospital, a small but mighty story began to take shape with Kai's early arrival. Born into uncertainty, his journey unfolded over five months, guided by the steadfast support of a remarkable NICU team. Through every twist and turn, they stood as pillars of strength, making a profound impact on Kai's remarkable narrative.

Kai was born at 24 weeks due to placental abruption. He weighed 1.1 pounds at birth. Although we spent 5 long months at Brenner’s Children’s Hospital, I couldn’t have asked for a better NICU team than the one we had. Through every low valley and high mountain top, the nurses and doctors were a great support.
