AyNyis's Story

AyNyis was born at 25 weeks due to a spontaneous delivery. He had a heart condition and required surgery. Initially, my husband and I were confused and scared. AyNyis required feedings through a nasogastric tube. Around 2-3 months, he began gaining weight and breathing independently. The FSNCC and hospital staff were amazing! I couldn’t have asked for a better team. They were very caring, and I have built lasting relationships. I learned a lot from everyone involved with AyNyis and our family. My message to families in this situation is: that all children are different. It’s a rough journey, but you will get through it.
