After a stressful stay in the Neonatal Intesive Care Unit, every family deserves to bring their baby home with all of the supplies and equipment needed to care for them with confidence. That's why the Family Support Network of Central Carolina offers Elizabeth's Closet, a storehouse of supplies for eligible families who are finally going home with their NICU "grads." We are always in need of supplies to keep our many support services for families going strong. Can you help with any of the items listed below?

  • Diapers, newborn or size 1
  • New or gently used Boppy pillows (positioning aids often used for breastfeeding)
  • Head-molding helmets
  • New or gently used infant clothing, especially preemie-size clothing for girls
  • Onesies, size newborn or 0-3 months
  • New or like new baby furniture & equipment (give us a call to check for need). Please make sure these items are clean and in good working condition.
  • Scrapbooks or scrapbooking supplies
  • Gas cards for families who must travel long distances to be with their babies in the NICU
  • Grocery gift cards or vouchers
  • Restaurant gift cards or coupons
  • High back, reclining high chair (great for infants & toddlers with special needs)

Many thanks to Two Men and a Truck for providing storage space for Elizabeth's Closet!

You can also help by Adopting a Frog! Yes, you read right...

Frogs are positioning aids that bring warmth and comfort to fragile, premature infants in the NICU. Thanks to a recent partnership with a former NICU family, FSNCC is now collecting these special items to donate to babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Women's Hospital of Greensboro.
