Autism Society of North Carolina, Randolph County Chapter: This group meets from 6:30-8:00 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month during the school year for great speakers, useful information, and empathetic support from other area parents. Meetings are held at the Early Childhood Development Center (ECDC), 1738 N. Fayetteville Street, Asheboro. Child care is available with RSVP. Children's Developmental Services Agency: Providing evaluation, service coordination, and access to therapy services for children from birth-3. Support in transitioning to Preschool special education services at third birthday. Referrals may be submitted by parents, physicians, teachers, or other caregivers.
