The Family Support Network of Central Carolina (FSNCC) offers a variety of services for families of children with special needs. Whether your child has been recently diagnosed with a disability; your family is new to the Triad; or you have questions about your child's care, we can help you find the information you need to support your child, access services, and join our community. Our services include:

Parent-to-Parent Matching: Sometimes, the best support comes from someone else who has "been there." Research has proven that families raising children with special needs benefit significantly from the support of other parents in similar situations. Through our matching program, you can talk with a trained volunteer Support Parent who is raising a child with similar needs and challenges. Our access to state- and nationwide networks enables us to locate family matches even for rare conditions or situations. Please click here to learn how you can become a Support Parent.
Sibling support: Brothers and sisters of children with special needs deserve special care and attention themselves. That's why we offer two support programs just for siblings. Sibshops is an upbeat, recreation-based program just for brothers and sisters of kids with special needs in grades 2-6. GALS (Girls Appreciating Loved Siblings) is just for sisters of kids with special needs in grades 6 and up. Click here for more information about our 2009-'10 sessions!
We offer free social and recreational events for families each year. Our Spring Fling, Fall Picnic, and Holiday Jamboree offer opportunties to meet other families in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Please visit our Events Calendar, or contact us to be added to our mailing list for these very special events.
