Family Life Council: As Guilford County's only agency specially focussed on family life and parent education, the Family Life Council provides accessible, high quality, and diverse programs, resources and advocacy for today's families, educators and community agencies. Family Service of the Piedmont: The largest private, nonprofit agency of its kind in Guilford County, this agency empowers individuals and families in crisis to restore hope, achieve stability and thrive through quality support services, advocacy and education. Programs include Domestic Violence Shelters; Children’s Advocacy Centers; Individual and Family Counseling;
In-Home Therapy and Support; and much more.

Greensboro Children's Developmental Services Agency (CDSA): Our area Early Intervention office, offering diagnostic evaluations, access to therapy services, and service coordination for children from birth to age 3. Parents, physicians, and other service providers may make referrals to the CDSA to arrange for screenings and consultations. Click here for an informational brochure. Guilford County Schools Exceptional Children & Psychological Services Office: Providing diagnostic assessments, case management, and school placement assistance for children ages 3 and up.

Guilford Parent Academy: Provides free information and training on a variety of topics for parents, grandparents and family members caring for children and young people in Guilford County.

Exceptional Children's Parent Advisory Council (ECPAC): A Council comprised of parents and administrators of the Guilford County Schools Exceptional Children's Department, offering resource and referral, advocacy, and parent training sessions at no cost to families. Potential): A support group for families of children with hearing loss, welcoming new members regardless of their chosen mode of communication.
