The services of the Family Support Network of
Central Carolina come in many shapes and sizes,
but they share a common purpose: to give families
of children with special needs the support they need
to care for their children – and for themselves.

The Family Support Network is fortunate to receive ongoing support from Guilford County
Partnership for Children
, the N.C. Infant-Toddler program, and several combined grants.
In-kind services are provided by the Women’s Hospital of Greensboro and the Children's Developmental Services Agency (CDSA) of Greensboro.

Generous support for our programs is also provided by:
Kay, an Ecolab Company
Junior League of Greensboro
Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro
Two Men and a Truck

St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church

While we are grateful for the generous support of our community partners, we still rely heavily on private donations to offer our services, and to increase our outreach to outlying counties. Your donation to the FSNCC will touch the lives of many families whose children have been born prematurely or diagnosed with a disability, chronic illness, or other special need. Our staff is uniquely qualified to offer the empathetic support that is so critical to these families: our Coordinators are themselves parents of children with special needs who also have graduate degrees in special education. Our Board of Directors is made up of parents and professionals who serve children with special needs. Our office, located at Women’s Hospital of Greensboro, serves families throughout Guilford, Rockingham, Randolph, Alamance and Caswell counties. Click here to find out about the services we provide throughout our catchment area.

All of our services are provided at little or no cost to families. Monetary donations are used to fund scholarships to Sibshops ($5 apiece), and to offset the costs of our many other services. Non-monetary contributions are also important: donations of food, beverages or paper goods are very helpful in enabling us to sponsor our social events.

Thank you for considering a donation to Family Support Network of Central Carolina. Support from community agencies and individuals like you are essential to our efforts. Molly Grace Hilemn asked guests to bring supplies for Elizabeth's Closet in lieu of gifts for her recent birthday. Molly Grace attends our Sibshops program, and her little sister Lacey is a NICU graduate who has Down syndrome. Thanks, Molly Grace!

Support Elizabeth's Closet. Donations of new or gently used baby items and equipment help us to stock our storehouse of supplies for families in need who are bringing their babies home from the NICU. You may consider organizing a diaper drive through your church or another organization. Adopt a Frog. Please help! Our supply of Frogs is critically low at the moment. Yes, you read right! A Frog is a beanbag positioning aid that's shaped like one of those amiable amphibians. Originally designed by a NICU nurse, a Frog helps with comfortable positioning of a premature baby. The Frog may be placed around the infant's head, neck or hips. It can be adjusted for special positioning needs, or used as an extra set of hands, giving the infant a snuggled feeling. For each donation of $15, FSNCC can purchase a Frog for an infant in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit who needs one. Click here to read more and make a secure online donation.

Support our Annual Pledge Drive. Please click here for information about Pledge Drive 2009! We depend on proceeds from this drive to plan for many of our programs and services throughout the year - and in these tough financial times, your donations are more critical than ever. This is a perfect opportunity for you to support our organization with a gift in any amount. Please click here to view a list of the generous donors who have already supported our 2009 Pledge Drive.
