Please help! Our supply of Frogs is critically low at the moment.

A Frog is a beanbag positioning aid that's shaped like one of those amiable amphibians. Originally designed by a NICU nurse, a Frog helps with comfortable positioning of a premature baby. The Frog may be placed around the infant's head, neck or hips. It can be adjusted for special positioning needs, or used as an extra set of hands, giving the infant a snuggled feeling. The polyethylene beads (beans) are encased in two layers of soft fabric for safety, and can be moved to different places within the frog-shaped aid for different uses. “Freddy” the Frog is made from a soft, cotton/polyester blend, and is machine washable and dryable.

Sadly, tight budgets mean that Frogs aren't always standard equipment in the NICU. That's why the Family Support Network of Central Carolina has partnered with a former NICU family to offer the Adopt-a-Frog program - your chance to provide one of these special items for a tiny baby who needs one. For only $15 per frog, you can give a preemie at the Women's Hospital of Greensboro a special kind of comfort.
